What a spectacle on 16th August 2025, as the Baracudas went head-to-head with the Stingrays, in a thrilling match at BHi Brantford 2. This electrifying match saw Carter MacDonald and Hridhaan Balothia shine as star players of the game, firing their team to victory.
The game kicked off with a bang, as Carter MacDonald of the Baracudas scored the opening goal just after the first minute. This was soon answered by Keaton Bradish of the Stingrays, leveling the scores. However, the Baracudas took control of the game in the second period with Carter MacDonald, Hridhaan Balothia scoring back to back goals, carrying the team to an exciting lead.
The third period began with another goal from Carter MacDonald. However, the Stingrays fought back with a fantastic scoring spree from Keaton Bradish, Masen Buscombe, Ryker Parry, and Grayden Bradish. Despite the valiant effort by the Stingrays, it was the Baracudas who triumphed in the end, with the game’s final goal scored by Hridhaan Balothia, securing the victory for the Baracudas.
The game was not without its heated moments, with Amirra Van Wieren of Baracudas and Grayden Bradish of Stingrays each spending two minutes in the penalty box. But the Baracudas managed to keep their composure and swam away with the victory, in what was truly a thrilling day of ball hockey.
