On the cool autumn night of September 17, 2025, The Smoke wafted onto the BHi Brantford 1 arena to compete against the Spare Parts in an exhilarating ball hockey game that had everyone at the edge of their seats. With swift moves and strategic plays, The Smoke emerged victorious, leaving an indelible mark on the spectators’ minds.
The Smoke started the game with an aggressive stance. Nash Murphy, assisted by Ethan Hooker and Chris Hooker, landed the first goal at just 4 minutes and 34 seconds into the first period. Shortly after, Greg Prangley swooped in, scoring another goal for The Smoke, making it two for the visitors before the period ended.
Spare Parts mounted a comeback in the second period when Brandon Cain, assisted by Sissy Penzvalto, netted a goal, igniting cheers from their fans. However, the resilience of The Smoke was unbroken.
