In an exhilarating match on August 26th, 2025, the STG Sabres triumphed over Ram Ranch in the first of the championship’s best 2 out of 3 series. The game took place at the bustling BHi Brantford 2 venue, where both teams battled it out, but the Sabres ultimately emerged victorious, showcasing their formidable teamplay and sharp shooting.
The Sabres kicked off the game in grand style in the first period with three back-to-back goals. Noah Girling, assisted by Brandon Cripps, was the first to find the back of the net at the 5-minute mark. Shortly after, Dalton Brown added another one to the Sabres’ tally. Just before the end of the period, Ryan O’Keefe, assisted by Nick Stevenson and James Deane, scored the third goal for the Sabres, creating a significant lead.
Ram Ranch refused to back down, though. Josh Peixoto, with an assist from Austin Grech, managed to narrow the gap in the second period. Despite their best efforts, Ram Ranch could not keep up with the Sabres’ onslaught.
The last period saw the Sabres’ Noah Girling, assisted by Cullen Keefe, score his second goal of the match. Shortly after, Cullen Keefe himself found the back of the net to seal the game for the Sabres.
Despite a valiant effort by Ram Ranch, the Sabres’ superior shooting accuracy and teamwork helped them secure an exciting win.
