It was an electrifying evening of ball hockey at BHi Brantford 1 on August 11, 2025, as the Mustard Tigers roared past The Thundercocks in a heart-stopping overtime win!
The game started off with a bang as Sivan Buttar of The Thundercocks found the back of the net in the first period, assisted by James Mclean. Not to be outdone, the Mustard Tigers’ Zack Laidman replied with a goal of his own, with help from Marcel Laidman and Kyle Moore.
The second period brought more excitement as Mike LeBar of The Thundercocks scored an unassisted goal. Yet the Mustard Tigers kept their cool, with Zack Laidman scoring another goal at the start of the third period. This time, Marcel Laidman provided the assist.
The game turned into a penalty-filled affair in the second period, with Sivan Buttar of The Thundercocks and Marcel Laidman of the Mustard Tigers both serving two minutes for body checking penalties.
With the scores even at the end of regulation time, the game went into overtime. It was here that Zack Laidman of the Mustard Tigers shone the brightest. He scored the game-winning goal, his third of the match, making it a hat trick and securing a well-fought victory for the Mustard Tigers.
