OPP Outshine Trash Pandas in Exciting Ball Hockey Showdown!

A spectacular display of skill and teamwork unfolded on the night of August 22nd, 2025 at the BHi Brantford 1 venue. The mighty OPP faced off against the feisty Trash Pandas in an unforgettable youth ball hockey game. The final score announced the OPP as victors, triumphing over the Trash Pandas with a series of well-earned goals.

The first period saw a thrilling back-and-forth with Kyle Boutilier of the Trash Pandas scoring the first goal, with a helpful assist by Justen Pettipas just 2 minutes and 36 seconds into the game. However, the OPP quickly retaliated with an equalizer from Tiago Alves, with Kaleb Fecteau and Angelina Beal lending the crucial assists.

The real turning point of the game was the second period, where Kaleb Fecteau of OPP capitalized on the momentum and scored a lone goal at the 20-second mark, putting the OPP in the lead.

In the third and final period, OPP’s offensive onslaught continued. Trevor Martin, assisted by Brendan Muise, added to the lead. Not long after, Tiago Alves netted his second goal of the match, with Trevor Martin and Brendan Muise again providing the assists. But the OPP were not finished yet. With just under three minutes left to play, Sharon Fecteau put the final nail in the coffin with a fantastic goal, assisted by Tiago Alves and Brock Staley.

Despite the Trash Pandas’ impressive start, the OPP overwhelmed them with superior ball control and teamwork. The game concluded without any penalties, highlighting the discipline and sportsmanship of both teams.
