On 16th of November, 2025, the high-stakes semi-final ball hockey match between the Lady Jokers and Back That Pass Up took place at the BHi Brantford 2 arena. The Lady Jokers proved too strong for their opponents, romping home with a dominant win.
Sam Miller of the Lady Jokers was on fire, racking up an amazing hat-trick of goals. She scored her first in the opening period, assisted by Angie Montour. She doubled her tally in the second period, supported by Terri Lynn Reid and Krissy Skye. Miller rounded off the scoring in the third period, with assists from the Skyes, Shania and Krissy.
But Miller wasn’t the only star of the Lady Jokers. Patty Sager and Angie Montour also found the net in the second period, with Montour’s goal assisted by Samantha Robdrup and Sager. Layla Renneberg added to the scoring tally in the final period, assisted by Terri Lynn Reid and Samantha Robdrup.
The Lady Jokers were strong defensively as well, holding Back That Pass Up to just five shots on goal. The only black mark on the Lady Jokers’ performance was a delay of game penalty in the first period against Back That Pass Up’s Chell Williams.
The game ended on a triumphant note for the Lady Jokers, who will be heading into the finals with high spirits and an undefeated record.
