On the evening of October 23, 2025, the Knights and Gladiators faced off in an exciting ball hockey game, held at the BHi Brantford 2 venue. This thrilling game had spectators on the edge of their seats as the Knights emerged victorious.
The Gladiators struck the first goal with Bentley Agoston, assisted by Austin Keels, showing no mercy in the 8th minute of the first period. However, the Knights swiftly answered back with Ayaan Syed scoring a beautiful goal, assisted by Matthew Wilkinson in the 6th minute. Dominic Crone then secured the lead for the Knights in the 3rd minute.
In the second period, the Knights took control of the game. Dominic Crone scored his second goal of the night in the 9th minute, followed by another goal by Hridhaan Balothia just seconds later. Dominic Crone completed his hat trick, assisted by Kaitlyn Barkman and Hridhaan Balothia in the 8th minute, pushing the Knights further in the lead.
In the third period, the Knights continued their offensive domination. Hridhaan Balothia scored another goal in the 8th minute, assisted by the Barkman siblings, Kaitlyn and Lana. Ayaan Syed solidified the Knights’ lead with a goal in the 1st minute, assisted yet again by Matthew Wilkinson. The final nail in the coffin came from Hridhaan Balothia in the final seconds of the game, assisted by Maddelyne Vicano, wrapping up a fantastic game.
The Knights’ victory was a true team effort, with every player contributing to their success. The Gladiators played valiantly, but the Knights’ relentless offense proved too much. The action-packed game was a treat for the spectators and demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.
