On a thrilling evening on October 10, 2025, the Jokers and Friday Knights faced off in a gripping session of ball hockey at BHi Brantford 2. From the moment the whistle blew, it was evident that this was going to be an unforgettable game.
The Jokers set the tone early with a goal from Crystal Campbell, assisted by Joseph Schwindt, just 6 minutes and 52 seconds into the first period. The Friday Knights responded promptly, thanks to Andrew Patla, who scored off an assist from Jocelyn General. However, the Jokers were not going to let this slide. Lucas Johnston seized back the lead for the Jokers, followed by another goal from Terri Lynn Reid, both times assisted by the relentless Joseph Schwindt, closing the first period with a bang!
As the game progressed into the third period, the Jokers held their ground and maintained their offensive pressure. Zach Hill added to the Jokers’ tally assisted by Lucas Johnston and Layla Renneberg. Joseph Schwindt, the dynamo of the game, who had been dishing out assists, scored a goal himself. The final goal of the game came from Markus Mathurin, assisted by Zach Hill and Crystal Campbell, securing a resounding win for the Jokers.
Despite their valiant efforts, the Friday Knights were unable to match the Jokers’ offensive prowess. The Jokers dominated the scoreboard and the field, outshooting the Friday Knights 32 to 15. A special mention to the referees, Dave Dean and Tom Picone, and TimeKeeper Max Dean, whose expertise ensured a smoothly run game.
