Excitement filled the air at the BHi Brantford 2 on October 18, 2025, as the Jaguars faced off against the Huskies in an unforgettable game of ball hockey. The Jaguars, showing their prowess and determination, emerged victorious in this thrilling contest. Despite a valiant effort from the Huskies, the final score was 11-2 in favour of the Jaguars.
The Jaguars wasted no time in asserting dominance on the field. Brayden VanAssen, assisted by Liam Cole, scored the first goal of the game within the first 10 minutes. This was quickly followed by goals from Liam Cole and Ryker Hebb, setting the tone for the rest of the game. By the end of the first period, the Jaguars were leading 3-0.
The second period was no less exciting. Ryker Hebb, Duncan McLaughlin, Colton Agius, and Riley Guzar all found the back of the net for the Jaguars, extending their lead even further. The only hiccup was a two-minute tripping penalty against Duncan McLaughlin, but the Jaguars held strong, keeping the Huskies off the scoreboard.
In the third period, the Huskies fought back with Xzavier Martin and Holden Bruner both scoring goals. However, this was not enough to deter the Jaguars, who added four more goals to their tally, courtesy of Liam Cole, Riley Guzar, Brayden VanAssen, and Riley Guzar again.
The game was a true team effort from the Jaguars, with outstanding performances from Brayden VanAssen, Duncan McLaughlin, and Ryker Hebb who were instrumental in the team’s victory. The Huskies put up a good fight but fell short in the end. Despite the loss, they showed great sportsmanship and determination throughout the game.
