On an exciting evening of October 15, 2025, at the BHi Brantford 1, the Hornets battled the Jaguars in a thrilling ball hockey showdown. After a fierce competition filled with hustles and tussles, the Hornets emerged victorious, flying high above the Jaguars.
The game kicked off with the Hornets’ Jaxon Bennett scoring the first goal assisted by Reid Cole in the 8th minute. Lincoln Aitchison followed suit, firing two quick goals in the 3rd and 2nd minutes of the first period respectively, with Dean Bazylinsky assisting on the latter.
The second period saw Reid Cole net two goals for the Hornets, with teammates Cooper Hounsell and Hudson Bennett assisting on the second. Jaguars’ Mateo Petitti broke through the Hornets’ defence, putting one on the scoreboard assisted by Ryker Hebb and Riley Guzar.
As the third period began, Keegan McLaughlin scored for the Jaguars, assisted by Duncan McLaughlin. Petitti later scored two more goals, completing his hat-trick and amplifying the Jaguars’ comeback effort.
