What a thrilling game it was on the 18th of September, 2025, as the ’12 to 14 Dragons’ roared to victory over the ‘Gladiators’! The BHi Brantford 1 venue was filled with excitement from start to end.
The first goal of the game came from the stick of Noah Khimji of the Dragons, assisted by his brother Elijah Khimji and Noah Parry, at 7 minutes and 13 seconds into the first period. The Dragons kept the momentum going with Elijah Khimji scoring a goal in the second period, assisted by Ryker Parry and Noah Parry.
As a testament to their teamwork, the Dragons had a third scorer, Amirra Van Wieren, who hit the back of the net in the second period, increasing their lead.
However, the Gladiators showed their resolve and fought back hard in the third period. Ryder Latendresse scored for the Gladiators, assisted by Miguel Singbeil and Carter Gilchrist. Not to be outdone, the Dragons roared back with a goal from Masen Buscombe, assisted by Noah Khimji.
As the game headed towards its conclusion, Bentley Agoston of the Gladiators managed to sneak one past the Dragons’ goalie with just 6 seconds left in the game.
Despite the Gladiators’ valiant effort, the Dragons emerged victorious in this thrilling contest. The final score did not reveal the full story of the game, as both teams battled with heart and fervor. Each goal, every pass, and all the saves were testament to the players’ skills and determination.
