On a steamy summer evening of August 4, 2025, the youth ball hockey teams, the Bulls and the Vipers, faced off at the BHi Brantford 1 venue in a thrilling match that saw the Bulls prevailing triumphantly.
From the first period, the Bulls hit the ground running. Cole Maxwell, the star player of the Bulls, netted the first goal only 8 minutes into the game, assisted by Elizabeth Johnson. This was quickly followed by a rapid-fire succession of goals from Elijah Khimji and a true hat-trick from the unstoppable Cole Maxwell himself, with one of the goals assisted by Olivia Hebert and Vladimir Lafazan. The Vipers struggled to keep up with the pace as the Bulls continued their scoring spree, ending the first period with an impressive lead.
In the second period, the Bulls maintained their momentum. Noah Khimji jumped into the action, scoring a swooping goal just over 9 minutes into the period. The Vipers, despite their best efforts, couldn’t break through the Bulls’ defence.
The third period saw the Bulls continue their dominance. Vladimir Lafazan and Noah Khimji scored goals, both assisted by the day’s star, Cole Maxwell. Vladimir Lafazan scored again just 20 seconds before the final whistle, rounding off a remarkable victory for the Bulls.
A minor penalty was given to Samson Kisac of the Vipers for tripping, but it didn’t affect the outcome of the game.
The star players of the day were undoubtedly Cole Maxwell, Elijah Khimji, and Vladimir Lafazan, who all made significant contributions to the Bulls’ victory.
Let’s look forward to seeing more of such exciting games in the future. Until then, congratulations to the Bulls for their emphatic win!
