On a beautiful afternoon of October 3, 2026, the Ducks faced off against the Polar Bears in an exciting game of youth ball hockey at the BHi Brantford 2. The Ducks, with their impressive teamwork and strategy, managed to secure a thrilling victory.

The game kicked off with a bang!

The Ducks’ standout player, Grayson Young, scored the first goal of the match in the 7th minute, assisted by Ava Denzau. However, the match wasn’t all smooth sailing for the Ducks. In the second period, Ava Denzau found herself in the penalty box for a 2-minute tripping penalty.

Yet, the Ducks defended well and didn’t let the Polar Bears capitalize on their advantage.

As the match moved to the third period, the Ducks found themselves in a dicey situation again when Zane Rook was handed a 2-minute penalty for roughing. Despite the setback, the Ducks maintained their composure. In the 7th minute of the third period, Grayson Young, proving his mettle once again, scored another goal for the Ducks, this time with an assist by Jakob Lanteigne.

The Polar Bears fought hard, outshooting the Ducks 21 to 19, but were unable to find the back of the net.

In the end, it was the Ducks who emerged victorious, all thanks to their resilience and the sterling performance of their players, especially Grayson Young. Despite a few penalties, the Ducks showcased their strength by keeping the Polar Bears at bay and cemented their win. It was indeed a day to remember at the BHi Brantford 2!
