A thrilling game took place on December 21, 2025 at the Woodman Park Community Centre, where the Stingrays faced off against the Eagles in a high-energy battle of ball hockey. This game was a fantastic display of sport, teamwork, and unyielding spirit. The Stingrays emerged victorious, marking a memorable game for both teams.
In the first period, the Stingrays made their presence known with Hudson MacDonald kicking off the scoring just 12 minutes in. Not long after, Harrison Veber doubled the lead for the Stingrays. The Eagles, however, were not to be outdone as Ella Jackson and Marco Barrett provided quick back-to-back goals, with Barrett scoring twice and Jackson adding another to her tally. The Stingrays responded with goals from Carson Hall, Laykn Thacker, and an impressive third from Harrison Veber.
Starting the second period, Harrison Veber and Gavin Porter from the Stingrays showed incredible form by each scoring twice. Grayson Porter and Carson Hall also left their marks with two goals apiece. Jakob VanEvery, Marco Barrett, and Gabriel Greene added to the Eagles’ tally, with Greene securing the final two goals of the game.
Both teams put forth tremendous effort, resulting in a high-scoring and exciting match. The Stingrays proved just a bit stronger, taking home the win after a thrilling face-off. Both teams should be proud of their grit and determination, and we look forward to seeing more from these fantastic players in the future.
