Nips n’ Tips Dominate Friday Knights in Thrilling Victory!

In an exciting afternoon of youth ball hockey action on November 1, 2025, at the BHi Brantford 2 venue, the Nips n’ Tips showed their dominance over the Friday Knights.

The game started off with a competitive edge as both teams showcased their skills. However, it was the Nips n’ Tips who managed to break through the Friday Knights’ defense and score three impressive goals in the second period.

The first goal was scored 8 minutes and 23 seconds into the second period. Mason Boutilier found the back of the net, assisted by Connor Maclean and Jaylee Martin-Henhawk. The crowd erupted into cheers as the Nips n’ Tips took the lead.

Just a few minutes later, at the 3-minute 23-second mark, Connor Maclean, who had assisted the first goal, took matters into his own hands and netted the second goal for the Nips n’ Tips. Jaylee Martin-Henhawk and Jenn Boutilier provided the assists.

In the closing seconds of the second period, Mason Boutilier struck again, scoring his second goal of the game to push the Nips n’ Tips into a comfortable lead. Assists were credited to Kyle Boutilier and Jaylee Martin-Henhawk, who had an exceptional game with three assists.

The Nips n’ Tips’ defense was also commendable, keeping the Friday Knights at bay throughout the game. They were able to limit the Knights to just 21 shots on goal, while the Nips n’ Tips fired an impressive 25 shots towards the Friday Knights’ net.

The game was ably officiated by Dave Dean and Nico Carmichael, while Connor Maclean, besides shining on the field, did a fantastic job as the Timekeeper.

All in all, it was a great day for the Nips n’ Tips, who showed strong teamwork and skill throughout the game. The Friday Knights, although they fought hard, were unable to find a way past the strong defense and goalkeeping of the Nips n’ Tips.
