The game opened with Sunny Buttar from the Phatletes scoring the first goal, followed by another from their teammate David Locke. But the Ball Crushers answered back with a beautiful goal by Sam Overgauuw, making it a thrilling start to the match.
The second period began with another goal for the Ball Crushers, scored by Dillon Breen. Not to be outdone, Kellan Kleinstuber of the Phatletes put another one in the net.
