It was an electrifying match on the 21st of October, 2025, at the BHi Brantford 2, as the Eagles squared off against the Flamingos in a ball hockey game filled with skill, thrill, and a lot of goals.
Mason Plante of the Flamingos opened the scoring in the first period with two quick goals, which were matched by Dominic Raposeiro of the Eagles. With 2 goals each from Plante and Raposeiro, the first period was as heated as it could get. A highlight of this period was a brilliant assist from Hudson MacDonald and Carson Hall, respectively.
The second period saw the Eagles take flight as Dawson Mascarin scored twice, tipping the scales in favor of the Eagles. With this, the Eagles took the lead, and the energy was palpable on the field.
The third period was marked by the outstanding performance of Gabriel Greene from the Eagles. With a hat trick in quick succession, Greene further solidified the lead for the Eagles. Dominic Raposeiro and Dawson Mascarin provided crucial assists, making it a team victory indeed.
Despite a valiant effort and a final goal from Mason Plante of the Flamingos, the Eagles soared to victory in the final moments of the game.
While the game had its share of penalties, with Cienna Vicano of the Flamingos and Gabriel Greene of the Eagles serving time in the box, it was a well-fought match that demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and teamwork from both sides.
