Thrilling Match Sees Hawks Overcome Falcons in an Edge-Of-Your-Seat Game!

On a bright and bustling day of October 18, 2025, youth ball hockey fans were treated to an edge-of-the-seat game between the Hawks and Falcons at the BHi Brantford 1 venue. What a match it was, as the fans watched their beloved teams engage in a thrilling face-off! The final whistle saw the Hawks emerge triumphant, much to the delight of their ardent supporters.

The first period saw the Falcons surge ahead with a stunning even-strength goal by Emery MacDonald, assisted by Marco Barrett. Despite the setback, the Hawks kept their spirits high. The first period also saw some intense moments as Ben Milmine from the Falcons team was handed a two-minute penalty, raising the stakes even higher.

However, the Hawks turned the tide in the third period with two fantastic even-strength goals. The first was a result of the exceptional skills of Easton Whalen, who later turned assister for the deciding goal by Ella Jackson. The terrific teamwork displayed by Whalen and Jackson was the game changer for the Hawks.

Both teams fought hard, with the Falcons taking 17 shots while Hawks managed 15. This day will surely go down in the memory of the Hawks as they reveled in their hard-earned victory. A special shout-out to the referees Tom Picone and timekeeper Colton Farrugia for their excellent management of the game.
