The Snipe Clan took the early lead in the first period with a goal from Chuck Doxtator, assisted by Mitchell VanEvery. The Gamblers retaliated in the second period with a goal from Marshall Powless, who was assisted by Kalem Powless. However, The Snipe Clan was quick to respond, finishing the second period leading 3-2 thanks to goals from Mitchell VanEvery and another from Chuck Doxtator.
As the third period began, The Snipe Clan appeared to have the upper hand with Mitchell VanEvery scoring another goal. But The Gamblers’ Sako Swamp turned the tide of the match, scoring two consecutive goals, both assisted by Marshall Powless, with the second one also assisted by Kalem Powless. In overtime, The Gamblers’ Cole Powless rose to the occasion, scoring the decisive goal, assisted once again by Marshall Powless, cementing the 5-4 victory for The Gamblers.
