What a game we had on the evening of October 14, 2025, as the Flamingos took on the Hawks at BHi Brantford 2. Both teams gave it their all, but in the end, the Flamingos emerged victorious, on the wings of a team that packed power and precision.
The first period was a flurry of goals with Cienna Vicano of the Flamingos opening up the scoreline. The Hawks’ Jacob Marchment did find the back of the net once, assisted by Ella Jackson, but couldn’t prevent the Flamingos’ Harrison Cole from doubling their lead, assisted by Vicano.
The second period saw some more high-intensity action with Ella Jackson scoring for the Hawks, assisted by Easton Whalen and Jacob Marchment. However, Mason Plante made sure the Flamingos stayed in the lead with a goal of his own, assisted again by the phenomenal Cienna Vicano.
As the game entered its final period, the Flamingos truly took flight. Mason Plante and Harrison Cole, who had a hat trick, drove the Flamingos’ dominance further, with Cole scoring two back-to-back goals. The Hawks did manage one more goal thanks to Jacob Marchment’s strike, assisted by Easton Whalen, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Flamingos’ flight to victory.
The game closed with a final tally of 6-3 in favor of the Flamingos. The game’s top scorers, Harrison Cole and Mason Plante, truly stole the show with their spectacular performance. Cheers to both teams for an exciting game that kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end!
