On October 4th, 2025, the Titans and the Knights clashed in an exciting display of youth ball hockey at BHi Brantford 1. The Titans emerged victorious over the Knights, showcasing their teamwork, skill, and determination.
The first period was a flurry of goals from the Titans, with Nolan Bevan seizing the first opportunity just as the game was warming up. Right on his heels, Tripp Balaga, assisted by Sam Predojevic, and Aiden Armstrong carried on the momentum with some striking goals of their own. Wrapping up the period, Oscar Bell, assisted by Luca Ligori, found the back of the net, lifting the spirits of the Titans even higher.
Maddelyne Vicano, assisted by Kaitlyn Barkman and Charlie Bowler, brought some hope for the Knights in the second period with a sharp goal. Nevertheless, the Titans’ Tripp Balaga, assisted by Rowan Filer and Violet Staats, and Max Dean made sure to keep their team in the lead.
The third period saw a courageous comeback attempt from the Knights, with Lana Barkman and Kaitlyn Barkman both scoring great goals, assisted by Maddelyne Vicano. But the Titans’ Max Dean solidified their victory, scoring a brilliant goal assisted by Rowan Filer.
Despite the high intensity and competitive spirit of the game, both teams displayed great sportsmanship. The Titans’ Aiden Armstrong and Max Dean and the Knights’ Ava Denzau all received minor penalties for roughing but quickly returned to the game, contributing positively to their respective teams.
Both teams showed great skill, agility and dedication on the rink today, promising an exciting season to come. We look forward to their next thrilling match-up!
