In an exhilarating display of teamwork and skill, the Yetis managed to secure a decisive victory over The Rocks in a thrilling game at the BHi Brantford 2 venue on October 5, 2025.
From the onset, the Yetis showcased strong offensive prowess. Dwayne MacDougall, Yetis’ forward, opened the scoreline with an even-strength goal, assisted by Ian Blasdell and Geoff Kitchen. Not long after, Ian Blasdell found the back of the net, with Geoff Kitchen setting up the goal, thus doubling their lead.
As the first period was coming to a close, Geoff Kitchen added another goal to the Yetis’ tally, making it three-nil and sending a clear message about the team’s intentions.
As the game progressed into the third period, Ian Blasdell once again showed his goal-scoring expertise by notching back-to-back even-strength goals. Geoff Kitchen and Scott Josey did a brilliant job assisting the fifth goal of the day.
Despite a greater number of shots on goal from The Rocks, the Yetis’ defense, along with their goalie, stayed resolute, ensuring a shutout victory. The final whistle confirmed the Yetis’ dominance, with them emerging as the clear winners in the clash.
