Grizzlies Edge Dolphins in Thrilling Shootout

On a sunny afternoon on October 4, 2025, the Grizzlies faced off against the Dolphins at BHi Brantford 2 in a heart-pounding game of youth ball hockey. The energy was electric, as both teams fought hard and fast, but ultimately the Grizzlies emerged victorious.

The first period was a rollercoaster ride as both teams found the back of the net. William Evans and Rylan Mather-Roulston both scored for the Grizzlies, with stellar assists from Rhys MacDonald. However, the Dolphins wouldn’t back down, with Brayson Longboat and Carter Hamilton both landing top-shelf goals, leaving the game tied at 2-2 going into the second period.

As the second period began, the Grizzlies took the lead, thanks to goals from Camille Schaaf and Rhys MacDonald, who had a standout game. But the Dolphins showed their resilience with goals from a quick-thinking Default Player and Tyler Fazekas, keeping the competition fierce.

The third period was all about the Grizzlies. Carter Norris and Declan Paul both found the back of the net, securing a thrilling 6-4 victory for the Grizzlies.

Penalties were few but significant, with Jace Lesky of the Grizzlies and Brayson Longboat of the Dolphins both spending time in the box. Emmett White of the Grizzlies was also sidelined for high-sticking.
