On a riveting afternoon of Sept 25, 2025, spectators at BHi Brantford 2 were treated to an electrifying display of teamwork, strategy, and skill in a ball hockey game between the Crusaders and the Knights. The Crusaders emerged as the victors after a thrilling battle, scoring more goals to take home the victory.
In the first period, the Crusaders made a strong start when Carter MacDonald, assisted by Matteo Bianco and then Liam Torelli and Grayson Young, scored two quick goals. The Knights fought back with Dominic Crone, assisted by Kaitlyn Barkman and Mark Wilcox, netting a goal. The Crusaders then went on a scoring spree with Liam Torelli, Jackson Draper, and another goal from Jackson Draper. Dominic Crone of the Knights managed to squeeze in another goal in between. The first period ended with a last-second goal from Jackson Draper of the Crusaders.
In the second period, the Crusaders continued their dominance with three goals from Liam Torelli, Olivia Hebert, and Jackson Draper. Dominic Crone of the Knights scored one goal in this period.
In the final period, the Knights started to fight back with goals from Lana Barkman and Caleb Gates. The Crusaders responded with goals from Harrison Thorne and Carter MacDonald. Despite the Knights’ valiant efforts, the Crusaders kept their lead until the end.
The game ended in a flurry of excitement, with the Crusaders notching a victory against the Knights.
