On a sunny afternoon of September 20, 2025, the Empire ball hockey team took on the Knights at BHi Brantford 1 and emerged victorious in a thrilling match.
From the first period, Empire set the tone for the game. Andre Greene struck the first goal of the game with an assist from Aiden Sioen. Moments later, Johnathan Jantzi, with the help of Greene and Keighan Gifford, found the net, doubling Empire’s lead. Ayaan Syed then unleashed his fury, scoring twice consecutively, with assists from Luca Ligori and Aiden Sioen on the second.
The second period saw the Empire continuing their dominance. Johnathan Jantzi, Luca Ligori, and Aiden Sioen each managed to score a goal. Ayaan Syed completed his hat trick, while Keighan Gifford and Johnathan Jantzi added to the tally, leaving the Knights reeling.
