The game kicked off with a blast as Connor Maclean of ‘Nips n’ Tips’ scored the first goal, assisted by the Default Player and Leyton Johnston, 8 minutes into the first period. Leyton Johnston then took a turn to score, assisted by the Default Player and Kyle Boutilier, later into the period. However, ‘Lights Out’ fought back with Tom Johnson netting a goal just before the period ended.
The second period saw ‘Nips n’ Tips’ regain their lead with goals from the Default Player and Kyle Boutilier. Both goals were assisted by Connor Maclean, showcasing his excellent playmaking skills. However, ‘Lights Out’ was not ready to go quietly into the night. Hunter Cain and Matt Richardson managed to put two goals past the ‘Nips n’ Tips’ goalie, keeping the game competitive.
In the final period, Mat Cain of ‘Lights Out’ tied the game for a brief period. However, ‘Nips n’ Tips’ Default Player scored the winning goal, assisted by Leyton Johnston, seizing the victory for their team.
