On a lively evening of August 29, 2025, ball hockey enthusiasts gathered at BHi Brantford 2 to witness an exhilarating match between two formidable teams, the Scorgasms and the Dream Team. The game was full of excitement, packed with amazing shots, goals, and a spirit of friendly competition.
The Scorgasms started the game strong with two early goals in the first period. Ian Martin opened the scoring for the Scorgasms, assisted by Alissa General, just after 2 minutes and 8 seconds into the game. Alissa General then went from assister to scorer, netting a goal herself 27 seconds into the game, assisted by Donavon Monteforte and Emily Porter.
The second period saw the Dream Team make a valiant comeback with Becca King scoring a goal assisted by Kristin Barnard and Sammy Brown, 6 minutes and 16 seconds into the period. However, the Scorgasms held their own and responded with two more goals. Alissa General struck again 8 minutes and 40 seconds into the period, assisted by Donavon Monteforte and Wes Whitlow. Donavon Monteforte then scored a goal himself 2 minutes and 36 seconds into the period, assisted by Alissa General and Ian Martin.
The third period was equally electrifying. The Dream Team, refusing to back down, scored two more goals. Becca King scored her second goal of the match 6 minutes and 23 seconds into the period, assisted by Jocelyne Larocque. Kristin Barnard then scored a goal assisted by Kelly Maclean 3 minutes and 53 seconds into the period.
