On August 17, 2025 at the BHi Brantford 2 arena, the championship series game 2 unraveled with a thrilling face-off between the N.E.E and BDB 30+. This game was nothing short of exciting, with tick-to-tick action, underlining why ball hockey is loved by all.
The match started off with a bang when Mike Montour from N.E.E scored within the first four minutes, assisted by Tyler Carnahan. But the BDB 30+ wouldn’t let them enjoy the lead for long. PJ Fulsom from BDB 30+ shook the net to level the score in the second period, assisted by Nathan Feeney and Brock Staley.
Just as the excitement was reaching a fever pitch, Shannon Pearson from BDB 30+ scored back-to-back goals in the second period and start of the third, turning the game on its head. The N.E.E team fought back valiantly with goals from Taylor Martin and Tyler Carnahan, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit.
As the third period was coming to a close, PJ Fulsom from BDB 30+ delivered a nail-biting goal with just one second on the clock, pushing the game into the fifth period. In the fifth period, Brock Staley from BDB 30+ sealed the deal with the final goal of the game, leading BDB 30+ to a well-deserved victory.
This thrilling game was marked by not only goals but some penalties too. Don Pauze from BDB 30+ was sidelined for two minutes in the first period, and Mike Montour and Alex Delyst from N.E.E had to take a break in the second and third periods respectively.
