Ball hockey fans at BHi Brantford 1 were treated to a thrilling spectacle as Bisons edged out Coyotes in an epic match on August 12, 2025. The game was a roller coaster ride filled with stunning moments and commendable team efforts.
The action started early in the first period with Bisons’ Keeghan Kellam scoring an even-strength goal, thanks to a wonderful assist from Nick Price. However, the Coyotes quickly retaliated with Samson Kisac striking back, assisted by Gavin Marchbank and Carson Swayze. The first period ended evenly contested with both teams showing incredible grit.
In the second period, Samson Kisac of the Coyotes once again found the net with the help of Carson Swayze and Kherington Gifford. The Bisons, however, had their own ace in the form of Colton Moore who scored a goal assisted by Nick Price and Keeghan Kellam.
The third period saw an exciting comeback from the Bisons. Zachary Van Wieren and Nathan Price scored two even-strength goals, changing the game’s momentum. Their team spirit was undeniable with Ryker Leduc, Haven Jacobs, and Logan Prangley providing excellent assists. The Coyotes tried to keep the game alive with Gavin Marchbank scoring, thanks to Tristan Barkman and Heather Barkman’s assistance, but it wasn’t enough to take the lead.
Despite a late penalty against the Coyotes’ Gavin Marchbank, the game was played in high spirits, showcasing the best of youth ball hockey. A big shoutout to the referees Paul Alves and Nick Zupan, and timekeeper Devon Harrington for ensuring a smoothly run game.
Overall, it was a day of exciting play, impressive teamwork, and unforgettable ball hockey action. We’re already looking forward to the next game!
