On a thrilling night of August 4, 2025, the Big Stick Bandits emerged victorious over the Mustard Tigers in an exciting game at the BHi Brantford 2 venue. The game was a roller-coaster, with both teams showing great skill, determination, and sportsmanship.
The first period saw an intense face-off as Braden Maxwell of the Big Stick Bandits secured a goal with an assist from teammate Liam McCall, setting the tone for the match. However, this spirited start was met with an equally spirited response. Marcel Laidman, from the Mustard Tigers, retaliated with a goal in the third period, followed swiftly by another from Kyle Moore.
As the tension mounted in the third period, Parker Herriot of the Big Stick Bandits answered back with a fantastic goal, assisted once again by the formidable Liam McCall. Not stopping there, McCall then proceeded to score a solo goal, sealing the victory for the Big Stick Bandits.
Both teams showcased commendable sportsmanship and skill throughout the game. In terms of penalties, each team had one player, Marcel Laidman from the Mustard Tigers and Braden Maxwell from the Big Stick Bandits, who were penalized for two minutes each in the first period.
In terms of shots on goal, it was a neck-and-neck competition with Mustard Tigers firing 16 shots and Big Stick Bandits close behind with 15.
