Trash Pandas Triumph in a Thrilling Shootout Against The Mad Hatters!

In a nail-biting game of ball hockey that took place on the 4th of August, 2025, the Trash Pandas emerged victorious in a thrilling shootout against the Mad Hatters. The match took place at the vibrant BHi Brantford 1 venue and was keenly watched by an enthusiastic crowd.

The game started off with a bang as Ryan Calbeck of the Trash Pandas scored an electrifying even strength goal in the 7th minute of the first period. However, the Mad Hatters quickly bounced back in the second period with an impressive goal from Tom Stright, beautifully assisted by Chase Plaus and Jeff Beech.

The real drama unfolded when the game had to be decided in a shootout. The crowd held their breath as James Colwell from the Trash Pandas stepped up to the mark. He did not disappoint and scored the decisive goal, sealing the victory for the Trash Pandas.

However, the game was not without its share of penalties. Brandon Baker from the Trash Pandas found himself in the penalty box twice in the second period for two minutes each time, once for tripping and the other for hooking. In the third period, Murray Hill from the Mad Hatters also received a two-minute penalty for hooking.

Both teams showed notable performance with the Mad Hatters making 23 shots and the Trash Pandas making 25. Kudos to the referees, Riley Stelling and Jeff Bradbury, who ensured a fair game and to the timekeeper, Colton Farrugia, for keeping everything in check.
