Fans at the BHi Brantford 2 were treated to an exhilarating display of ball hockey on the evening of August 27, 2025, as the Coyotes faced-off against the Big Stick Bandits in the championship game.

The game was a whirlwind of action from the first whistle. The Coyotes’ Nate Lawrence started the scoreboard rolling with a goal in the initial minutes of the game. He was swiftly followed by teammate Jesse Hover, who scored another goal after a mere 52 seconds, nudging the Coyotes ahead of the Bandits.

Despite being outnumbered on the scoreboard, the Bandits’ Parker Herriot managed to sneak in a goal, keeping the Bandits in the game.

The first period wrapped up with another goal from the Coyotes by Connor Maclean.

The second period saw the Coyotes extend their lead with goals from Nash Kramer, Jesse Hover, and Walter Kramer. As the period came to a close, the Bandits were left grappling with a significant deficit.

The final period saw the Bandits show their mettle with goals from Colin Shaw and Matthew MacLean. However, their efforts were not enough to overcome the Coyotes, who secured their victory with a decisive goal from Brice Staats.

The Big Stick Bandits fought valiantly but were ultimately outmatched by the Coyotes, who took home the championship with a final score of 7-3.
