In an action-packed contest on August 11, 2025, the Stingrays secured a resounding victory over the Scorpions at the BHi Brantford 1 venue. The game was a whirl of excitement and skill, with both teams showing up with their A-game. However, it was the Stingrays who emerged as the dominant team, seizing the win with style.

The match kicked off with the Scorpions taking an early lead, as Sophie Allen, assisted by Aiden Sioen, clinched the first goal in the 4th minute of the opening period.

However, the Stingrays weren’t about to be outdone.

Stingray’s star player Lincoln Evans turned the tables in the 2nd period with two back-to-back goals. His first goal was assisted by Liam Torelli in the 9th minute. Then, Evans struck again, netting his second goal unassisted, showcasing his individual brilliance.

The Stingrays continued their onslaught with Masen Buscombe adding to the tally, scoring two goals in succession.

With the momentum fully in their favor, the Stingrays ended the period in total control.

The third period saw Keaton Bradish shine, delivering a hat trick! His precision and skill were evident, with two of his goals assisted by Lincoln Evans and the third by Masen Buscombe.

However, the Scorpions weren’t without fight. They showcased their defensive prowess during the second period as Matthew Wilkinson and Oscar Bell each received penalties.

The Stingrays also had their share of penalties with Eva Vaillancourt getting penalized.

The game ended with the Stingrays triumphing over the Scorpions. With a total of 17 shots on goal by the Stingrays versus the Scorpion’s 15, it was indeed an edge-of-the-seat encounter. Kudos to all the players for their fantastic performance and sportsmanship!
