On August 8, 2025, spectators at the BHi Brantford 2 venue witnessed an exciting ball hockey game, as the Broncos squared off against the Pigeons. The Broncos fought hard to ensure a victory, showing off their prowess and teamwork. With each team putting their best foot forward, it was a match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

In the first period, the Broncos made an early statement with a goal by Default Player, assisted by Nathan Feeney, just 9 minutes and 43 seconds into the game. The Pigeons were quick to respond though, with Will VanNieuwenhuizen scoring an equalizer, assisted by Victoria Barsotta. However, the Broncos pulled ahead again with another goal from Default Player, this time assisted by Travis and Brice Staats.

The second period witnessed further dominance from the Broncos. Brice Staats, who had assisted earlier, showed his scoring abilities by netting two goals. His first goal was assisted by Default Player, and the second by Nathan Feeney.

The game also had its fair share of penalties with Kyle Boutilier from the Pigeons and Nathan Feeney from the Broncos both receiving 2-minute penalties for DG and USC respectively.

The final whistle confirmed Broncos’ superiority and they emerged as the winners. The Pigeons put up a great fight, but the Broncos’ offense proved too much to handle. Despite the loss, both teams showed great sportsmanship and left the fans eagerly anticipating their next encounter.
