In an exhilarating display of teamwork and skill, the Leftovers claimed a thrilling victory over the Cobras on the evening of August 8, 2025 at BHi Brantford 2.

The game swung into action in the first period with Samantha Robdrup of the Leftovers scoring the first goal, assisted by PJ Fulsom and Paige Court. In the second period, the Leftovers dominated the rink with Johnathan Jantzi and Samantha Robdrup scoring two crucial goals, helped by Tristan Webb and Cora Wheeler.

But the Cobras wouldn’t back down – Gary Reid and Amelia Norton slipped two goals past the Leftovers’ defense, bringing a surge of excitement among the Cobra fans. Undeterred, PJ Fulsom responded for the Leftovers with a spectacular goal, pushing the momentum back in their direction.

As the final period commenced, the Leftovers showcased their offensive prowess with goals from Paige Court, Tristan Webb, and another from star player PJ Fulsom. Despite the Cobras’ best attempts, they couldn’t close the gap, leading to a triumphant win for the Leftovers.

The game ended with the Leftovers taking 19 shots and the Cobras, 18.

The game was also notable for its fair play, with no penalties issued throughout the match. The Leftovers’ superb teamwork and dedication led them to an unforgettable victory. The Cobras, although they didn’t emerge victorious this time, fought hard and gave an impressive performance till the last minute.
