On the bright sunny morning of May 24, 2025, the ‘9 to 11 Bisons’ showed the ‘Panthers’ who ruled the turf at BHi Brantford 1, with a thrilling round-robin match in the ball hockey league. The Bisons put on a spectacular show, playing skillful and strategic hockey, leaving the spectators on the edge of their seats. The game kicked off with Rhys MacDonald of the Bisons hitting the net after just 7 minutes and 12 seconds into the first period.

Not long after, Riley Guzar, assisted by William Evans, added another goal to the Bisons’ tally. The first period ended leaving the Panthers on the back foot. The second period saw the Bisons continue their dominance.

William Evans, assisted by Riley Guzar, and Aliyah Smith, netted the ball, adding more to the Panthers’ woes. MacDonald returned to score his second, assisted by Maddox Staats. Riley Guzar, assisted by MacDonald, and MacDonald again, assisted by Caiya Boissonneault and Max Dean, found the net, creating an unassailable lead.

In the third period, the Bisons remained relentless. Max Dean started the scoring spree, quickly followed by Maddox Staats, assisted by Dean and Aliyah Smith. The final goal came from William Evans, assisted by Auria Martin, in the last minute of the game, sealing the victory for the Bisons.

The Panthers put up a brave fight against the Bisons, with Mikayla McMillan, Layla Kosh, and Ezra Spurgeon trying to hold their own. However, the Bisons were too strong on the day. The audience was thrilled by the Bisons’ magnificent performance.

The players showed great sportsmanship and teamwork, which undoubtedly contributed to their victory. It was a fantastic day for the Bisons’ fans who cheered their team on from the sidelines. We can’t wait to see what the next game holds!
